Have replied on my and the article talk page. The problem, if you think about it, is not with this article or these "notable" people but what would happen if Wikipedia went down the road you propose? Far less responsible editors will have a field day. Setwisohi (talk) 22:20, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- I think that is why it is important to have a line or 2 stating why the notable people are notable (especially if they don't have their own article). That way the wikipedia community can decide on a case by case basis. There isn't a consensus on wikipedia to blanket remove these people. Lots of lists include people who don't have their own page. For example: List of Harvard University people, List of people from Wyoming, List of biologists, List of chemists, etc. AJseagull1 (talk) 22:31, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:SEAL schenectady.gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
