Hello! My name is Brett Reynolds, known around here as Hersfold. Welcome to my user page! This is where I keep track of my major projects and achievements here on Wikipedia. What I'll generally do on Wikipedia
I have been an administrator on the English Language Wikipedia since March 17, 2008 (RfA). In the event you feel I am grossly misusing the tools, I am open to recall through the process I have outlined at User:Hersfold/Recall. Additionally, I am also a trainee Arbitration Committee Clerk since April 19, 2009, and operate the Wiktionary Transwiki bot HersfoldBot.
When editing in my official capacity as an ArbCom clerk, I will be sure to sign my edit with "For the Committee," (or similar) where appropriate, or otherwise designate "clerk edit" in my edit summary. If you have questions about any edits of this sort, please do not hesitate to contact me or bring the issue to the clerk's noticeboard.
Most of my work on Wikipedia is related to the prevention and reversion of vandalism and helping new users get around the project. I am a Recent Changes and New Pages patroller, and get a fair number of vandal edits whenever I do go on patrol - usually at least once a day when I can. I also worked with Sebastian to update the coding on WP:UTM to include the tooltip templates he designed, to make using the vandalism warning templates and other frequently used talk page messages much easier.
I also frequently check the Help Desk and the {{helpme}} category for newcomers and the occasional oldtimer that needs a question answered. I help out whenever I can and will go out of my way to look up answers to questions I don't know. I might as well help myself out in the process, after all.
Other "projects" include volunteering at Motto of the Day, voting on and occasionally contributing nominations; assisting with the backlog at Articles for Creation, a monstrously huge task consisting of 15 months' worth of unanswered submissions; fulfilling speedy rename requests at WP:CFD with AutoWikiBrowser; and deletion debates at WP:AFD.

About me
I am currently attending UMBC on a near-full scholarship I received from them. My interests include photography, soccer, computers, and scouting. On the soccer end of things, I have previously been a USSF certified referee and officiate games in my local recreational league.

Anything that gets uploaded by me that was created by me (photographs, digital images, etc.) will be multi-licensed under the GFDL and the most recent Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, unless stated otherwise by me on the image page.
Significant Contributions
As I said above, most of my work is done in fixing other articles through minor edits such as reverting vandalism and so forth - but I have made some larger edits to a few pages or through a few projects.
