One security guard was injured in the attack, but Singh and his family were unharmed. The attackers have yet to be apprehended. [3] A member of the People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak claimed responsibility for the attack via phone, and indicated it was meant as a warning to Singh to stop policies meant to thwart the insurgency in Manipur.
