Mehmet Akgün (born August 6, 1986 in Bielefeld) is a German footballer who plays for Willem II. In the 2005–06 season, he played in the amateur Borussia team, however he has been picked several times for the first team squad and has played one Bundesliga game.
He was transferred to Kasımpaşa S.K. in 2007.[1]
On January 20, 2008, Akgün signed a one and a half year contract with Dutch side Willem II.[2] He scored his first goal for Willem II on the opening day of the 2008-09 season against Ajax.
