Luna 2. Luna 1959A was similar in design.
Luna 1959A (E-1A series) was the fifth Soviet attempt at an unmanned space mission to the Moon. It was launched on June 16, 1959. It was an impactor spacecraft designed to crash into the Moon. It was similar in design to Luna 2.
The mission was a failure. During launch, the guidance system of the rocket failed and did not make it to Earth orbit.
