Bronta Laron Profit (born August 5, 1977 in Charleston, South Carolina) is an American professional basketball player, formerly in the NBA. Before college, he played for Caesar Rodney High School in Dover, Delaware. Following a college career at the University of Maryland, College Park, he was a second round draft pick of the Orlando Magic in the 1999 NBA Draft. He has played for the Washington Wizards multiple times, and was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers with Kwame Brown.

Profit suffered a season ending injury and was waived on January 17, 2006 to make room for rookie Ronny Turiaf on the Lakers roster.

Laron Profit finished his college career averaging 12.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.

Received Honorable Mention All-ACC Freshman honors in 1996, led the ACC in steals in 1997, selected to the All-ACC 3rd team in 1997,1998 and 1999, and named Honorable Mention All-American in 1998. Upon graduation, Laron was 16th on the All-Time ACC steals list.
