Ingrid van Biezen

Ingrid van Biezen (born 1969) is Professor of Comparative Politics in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Birmingham.[1] She studied for her PhD at Leiden University.[1] Her research interests include comparative European politics, political parties and party systems in Europe, democratisation, Southern Europe, and post-communist politics.[1] She is the author of Political Parties in New Democracies: Party Organization in Southern and East-Central Europe (Palgrave Macmillan, 2003).[1]
