[edit] Career

After some years in minor leagues, he signed for Juventus in 1969. In the black and white side he became one of the most representative players for over 10 years, winning 8 scudetti, 2 Coppe Italia, 1 UEFA cup and 1 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.

[edit] Curiosities

With Giovanni Ferrari, he's one of two players who has won the most Serie A titles, with eight. (Ciro Ferrara would also have won eight if the 2004/05 title by Juventus were not taken away due to the match-fixing scandal. Virginio Rosetta also won eight national championships, but three of them came before the formation of a professional Serie A.)

He has been the team captain of Juventus for over 10 years being considerated the real "heart and soul" of the Black and white side in the '70.

His nickname was "Furia" (The Fury), due to his impressive struggle and stamina in playing.
