Checheng, Pingtung

Checheng Township (Chinese: 車城鄉) is a rural township in Pingtung County, Taiwan. During the Kingdom of Tungning, it was called "Firewood City" (柴城, POJ: Chhâ-siâⁿ). During Qing Dynasty rule, it was renamed "Car City" (車城).

- Population: 10,340 people (2006)
